Merry Christmas Ladies and Gents!

Image
It is finally Christmas!   My favourite season of all time. You might want to know why? It is merely because I get the privilege and chance to be blessed and bless others. I must say that throughout the 365 days we have the opportunity and occasions to do so but to be honest it just feels different on Christmas Day.   I would like to take this moment to wish you all happy holidays to you and your loved ones.  Please take care and stay safe. I acknowledge that the time we are all going through is pretty delicate and unpredictable. However, I believe that together we are stronger than Miss Rona and all its acolytes.  The Blood of Jesus is stronger than the vaccines that are being suggested by experts to be infused in our blood. Jesus is the only solution to all sicken and disease. Just make sure to respect the safety precautions and let God do His part. James 5:15 says “And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he ha...

Dear Today

Thank you for revealing to me the mysterious true meaning of Sisterhood and Brotherhood.   I used to think that 24 hours was way too much for an individual to spend without communicating.  Today’s reality is hitting harshly more than ever.   Having special people in your life that hold a special place in your life is a blessing. However, I never knew that these individual's values could  easily be replaced by social media, school, and life circumstances. Corona has been a destructive agent yet a truth-teller for many   Today made me realize that I can be invisible without having to rely on superpowers  Thank you Miss Rona, I now know those who are worthy of my attention and energy.  I can only be grateful for the small yet substantial social circle that God has blessed me with.   It is only today that I realize that a simple "how are you?"  Has a deeper meaning than "I love you".  Three similar words yet so different in their own ways....

Mysteriously Elegant

“A flower does not use words to announce its arrival to the world; it just blooms.” ― Matshona Dhliwayo Similarly to a flower,  a woman of virtue, class and elegance does not need to be obnoxious and blaring for people to notice her arrival. If you take a few minutes to observe people in a social gathering or just in the public in general, you will notice that most of the time, it is people that have nothing to offer or to show for that act in a very blatant manner whenever the opportunity presents to do so.  It is important to be mysterious and let your aura speak on your behalf. As a woman, one amongst many of your powerful weapons silence ranks number 1 on the list. This tool will help you build important connections, express what you really mean, avoid misunderstandings and build better relationships. Running your mouth here and there in all kinds of ways, will not help you attain any of the things mentioned above.  Be mysterious just like a flower. No one knows when ...

The Bold Light Young Lady, Be careful with people you surround yourself with. It is not anyone that wants to see you succeed. You are not for everyone and that is just perfect.  You are not weird and there is nothing wrong with that. Be careful! In life, you will encounter people that you will call friends or best friends. But those are the exact same friends that will turn out to be your worst enemies.  Be decisive and stand on your grounds in all situations.  Do not compromise for anything. Have morals and boundaries, and make them clear at all times. Beware of people, which come to you in sheep's clothing. But inwardly they are ravening wolves. Take your time to know strangers before you open up. Do not let yourself be influenced by the soft and innocent looking sheep.   Our society is dangerous and corrupted.  Be careful! Be someone that thinks differently and develops your own opinions.   Do not be like a sheep who is too easily influenced. D...

The Golden Silence

Image
On a daily basis, we are presented with multiple scenarios to show and practice humility. That could be at work, at school, in public places, on social media, etc. Perhaps in our ways of interacting with others, dressing, walking, eating and the list could go on.  We are living in modern society, in which some people are more privileged than others in different aspects. Being aware of your privileges as an individual can have a powerful impact on the outcome of many things. Day by day,  I am realizing how important it is to have a voice and be able to express myself on different topics. I am privileged among those who God blessed with a voice.  Being able to raise my concerns, opinions and thoughts has been a daily blessing because I know that there are people out there that can not do so due to a variety of reasons. However, not long ago it became clear that the same voice that  I am very grateful for can get me in trouble, just as much as a blessing could...

Zuleikhas of the 21 Century

We make God happy when we lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us. “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”.  Hebrews 12:1-2 Jesus is delighted when we conquer sin just as Joseph did when he was confronted by Potiphar’s wife. We are living in a corrupted world, full of Zuleikhas who are plotting evil against our lives and jealous of our success and achievements. Though the devil wanted to disgrace Joseph and snatch away his destiny. That was impossible because no one can curse what God has blessed. Numbers 20:23. Joseph observed Solomon's helpful advice that is found in Proverbs 5: 1-8. ...

Jesus Smilling

Jesus enjoys being delighted just as much as you do. He enjoys knowing that someone cares and loves Him too. 2 Corinthians 5:9 tells us that we have to make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. There is a man in the Bible who found the secret on how to make God Happy. According to 2 Samuel 11 David committed adultery and murder. Regardless of his multiple sins and crimes that did not give God a reason to disregard David. Instead he claimed him and said He was a man after God’s own heart. David had something that many of us lack in different scenarios; the integrity of the heart. He knew how to repent whenever he sinned against God. 1 Samuel 13:14 According to Isaiah 59:1-2, God's arm is not  too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. But our iniquities have separated us from your God; our sins have hidden His face from us, so that He will not hear.  Jesus has made us happy by dying for our sins and bridging the separa...

The Fruitful Garden

Our hearts could be compared to a garden with a variety of plants and other forms of nature. When the sower is sowing in his garden, he is the only one that knows what seeds he has placed in the soil. Unless he tells you or until the seeds start to blossom and produce fruits, no one else can tell what was initially planted. In life, you can only know what is hidden in an individual’s heart once they start acting. A sower can tell if the soil is good or  bad by its fruits. This can also apply to you and I, an individual can tell if a person has good intentions towards them only by their actions and not words. That is why the Bible says “Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions”. 1 John 3:18  I am personally not an expert in gardening, but with the little knowledge that I possess I know that it is recommended to clean up the weed, cut the thorns and remove the stones if there is any in your garden for better ...
