Dear Today

Thank you for revealing to me the mysterious true meaning of Sisterhood and Brotherhood.

 I used to think that 24 hours was way too much for an individual to spend without communicating. 

Today’s reality is hitting harshly more than ever.

 

Having special people in your life that hold a special place in your life is a blessing.

However, I never knew that these individual's values could 

easily be replaced by social media, school, and life circumstances.

Corona has been a destructive agent yet a truth-teller for many

 

Today made me realize that I can be invisible without having to rely on superpowers 

Thank you Miss Rona, I now know those who are worthy of my attention and energy. 

I can only be grateful for the small yet substantial social circle that God has blessed me with.

 

It is only today that I realize that a simple "how are you?" 

Has a deeper meaning than "I love you". 

Three similar words yet so different in their own ways. 

Thank you, dear Silence, for being my companion of all time. 

 

Today made me understand that you can have people around you and yet feel so lonely. 

It is only today that I understand why the Saviour Lord of Lords said in Luke 8:21, 

"my mother and brothers are those who heard God's word and put it into practice". 

This could also apply to sisters, brothers, and society at large.

 

A true sister or brother is a friend who listens and shows care with her heart.

It is with great remorse that I would say people with such hearts are a minority.

The true essence of sisterhood lies within a deeper meaning that only true sisters could decode. 

Thank you Today for being my inspiration for the future today.

You are actually stronger than you could possibly imagine or think. I am speaking based on experience.
